Based on the study and analysis of domestic application of CDIO engineering education model, exploration of CDIO engineering education model in packaging engineering talent cultivation process was tested by School of Mechanical Engineering of Hebei Union University. Through the practice, GPP (goal process performance) was proposed. Valuable experience in the methods of training, strengthening students' practical ability of packaging engineering specialty was accumulated combined with the engineering practice of education reform. The idea of CDIO concept was proved effective in cultivating innovative talents in packaging universities.
