Abstract:By adopting SSM method, and based on the income data of the tourism industry concerning forest parks in 9 provinces and 2 cities in the Yangtze River Economic Zone from 2010 to 2015, an empirical study has been made of the current situation of the tourism industry concerning forest parks in the Yangtze River Economic Zone. The results show that: the tourism industry concerning forest parks shows an overall lasting developing trendin the 9 provinces and 2 cities in the Yangtze River Economic Zone, with the maximum growth in Zhejiang province. More than half of the region's relative growth rate, structure effect index and competitiveness effect index are above 1 in the 11 provinces in the Yangtze River Economic Zone, which shows that the development of forest tourism industry in the Yangtze River Economic Zone is relatively fast, with a reasonable allocation of industrial structure as well as a strong competitive edge. The growth rate in Hubei province and Guizhou province is higher above national average level, with their reasonable distribution of industrial structure, and a strong comprehensive competitiveness.
