Abstract:In view of the greatly increased project cost as a result of increasing the pile diameter as well as the concrete intensity to strengthen the horizontal bearing capacity of the tubular pile, an experimental study has been made on the improvement of its horizontal bearing performance by using different concrete filling cores and core sections of different degrees of intensity. The experimental results show that the concrete filled cores help to improve the level of pile bearing capacity, with the core strength increasingly higher, the pile top displacement of the pipe piles under horizontal load showing a decreasing trend, while the characteristic value of pipe pile horizontal bearing capacity showing an increasing trend.
