Abstract:Studied the synthesis of a series of nylon 6/ nylon 11 b polypropylene glycol (PA6/PA11-b-PPG) thermoplastic polyamide elastomer (TPAE) with polypropylene glycol as the soft segment and nylon 6 and nylon 11 (PA6) (PA11) as the hard segment. The chemical structure was characterized by NMR and IR spectra; The thermal performance of TPAE was investigated by differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetric analysis; the dynamic thermal mechanical properties and mechanical properties were tested. The results showed that: 1) the synthesis of TPAE has good thermal stability; 2) with the increase of mass fraction of nylon 11 block copolymers, the glass transition temperature (Tg) decreased gradually; 3)with the increase of nylon 11 content, the tensile strength bend strength of TPAE, gradually reduced, while the impact strength and break elongation increased gradually.
