To improve the inverse halftoning image quality and effect of traditional LUT template, proposed optimal LUT template selection based on differential evolution algorithm. Experimental results show that the template prepared by the method has global optimality, the best template is same with the template of other algorithms, and it is superior to other global search algorithms in the convergence speed.
