Abstract:Uses the finite element software ABAQUS to simulate the bearing capacity of reinforced concrete beam-column connections, and makes nonlinear analysis on its concrete structure. Compares the testing results with the existing experimental results, and shows that the model of concrete damaged plasticity in ABAQUS can better simulate the yield load of member, but its yield displacement is different with the experimental result, mainly due to the ignorance of Poisson's ratio decreased and the bond slip between concrete and reinforcement, which increases the section stiffness of members.
