Abstract:With a traditional industrial city of Zhuzhou as an example, introduces the concept of "the urban-rural harmonious development degree" and sets up the urban-rural harmonious development evaluation index system. By means of the variance method gives each index objective weighting and quantitatively determines the urban-rural harmonious development degree of the city. Based on the evaluation results, uses the grey correlation to analyze the affecting factors that restrain the level of urban-rural harmonious development. The research shows that: at the present stage, the economic factor is the most important limiting factor, the social and demographic factor takes the second place, and the environmental factor has the least influence.
