Abstract:The vapor-liquid equilibria data of methanol-TFP binary system were determined by using the steam liquid phase balancing apparatus under the atmospheric pressure. The thermodynamic consistency test was conducted for the experimental data by Herington semiempirical method. A correlated calculation was done on the vapor-liquid equilibria data by Wilson model and NRTL model. The results show that: the vapor-liquid equilibria data of methanol-TFP binary system meet the requirements of thermodynamics consistency; and for the calculated methanol-TFP binary system, the interaction energy parameters(λ12-λ11)/R and (λ21-λ22)/R in the Wilson model are -223.99 K and 174.12 K, respectively, but in the NRTL model the parameters (g12-g11)/R and (g21-g22)/R are 478.41 K and -624.15 K, respectively.
