According to the face images after skin color segmentation，an algorithm of face region marking is put forward and the algorithm flow is designed which realizes face region marking by using histogram statistical method and combing face shape characteristics. The result of the experiment shows that this method can accurately and quickly remove non-face region of skin color region，thus it mark the face region.
