Through the spectrum analysis of illumination，homomorphic filter model and parameters expression are designed. On this basis，the homomorphic filtering method is applied to the brightness of color image，maintaining the same hue and saturation，to achieve illumination compensation of color image. Experimental results show that the method can not only access the homomorphic filter parameters quickly and accurately，but also achieve illumination compensation of color image more effectively.
