Combining with the current packing industry, various economic globalization challenge to package industry is analysed, and it is discussed that the independence and innovation of the national packaging industry is a necessary course for the packaging industry developing into a strong county. For this purpose，several key technologies are presented in the packaging development，and some strategies and measures are put forward as well.
