As a typical representative of Hunan’s intangible cultural heritage, Yandi culture has a unique geographical identity. Still, its inheritance faces many challenges such as inter-generational faults and weakening cultural memory. Relevant parties can build a trinity framework of “cultural decoding-mechanism innovation-technology empowerment”, and establish a knowledge chain of “legend-cultural relics-skills-folk customs”, so as to facilitate the deep transformation and revitalization of the intangible cultural heritage from symbolic display to spiritual essence, thereby innovating the study path for Hunan’s intangible cultural heritage of “Yandi Culture” and enhancing its level and depth.
