The leadership of socialist ideology refers to a comprehensive, four-in-one capacity that integrates value-driven traction, cognitive explanatory power, proactive advocacy, and institutional normative force. Enhancing this leadership in the new era is an inevitable requirement for realizing the Chinese path to modernization. Through an analysis of the challenges in the current development of socialist ideology, this paper proposes a practical path, i.e., consolidating consensus to strengthen value-driven traction, innovating discourse to reinforce cognitive explanatory power, transforming communication to elevate proactive advocacy, and improving mechanisms to ensure institutional normative force. This path aims to unite all people closely in thought, faith, and spirit, thereby better enabling them to shoulder the new historical mission on the new journey.
