The ideological and political education of Yan’an intellectuals is an important issue in the thirteen year history of the Communist Party of China Central Committee in Yan’an. In recent years, the academic community has conducted researches on the reasons, content, methods, effect, experience and inspirations of ideological and political education of Yan’an intellectuals, and has achieved fruitful results. However, there is still room for further research. Based on the existing achievements, the research can be deepened in the following four aspects: One is to deepen the research on the results and multidimensional manifestations of the ideological transformation of Yan’an intellectuals, making the research conclusions more scientific and persuasive; The second is to deepen the practical activities of ideological and political education of Yan’an intellectuals, so as to present the process of ideological and political education more vividly and fully; Thirdly, deepen the case study of representative Yan’an intellectuals, and use rich case analysis to promote overall research; Fourthly, we should attach importance to exploring and utilizing more historical materials to provide sufficient material support for deepening the research.
