Abstract:Lu Xun’s The True Story of Ah Q exposes the spiritual bondage of the old feudal forces on the lower class, while Ding Ling’s The Sun Shines on the Sanggan River presents a panoramic view of the awakening of the consciousness of the lower class to turn over a new leaf. It takes the scrubbing of the old concepts and morals by the Agrarian Revolution as the source of power to realize the turning over of the bottom people; With the unity of complexity and typicality of the characters in the works, it represents the poetic methodology of awakening the consciousness of turning over of the bottom people. From Ah Q to Heini and Hou Zhongquan, The Sun Shines on the Sanggan River reveals the inevitability and actuality of the awakening of the consciousness of the bottom people, and answers the question of the end of the fear of the bottom people, which constitutes a kind of poetic interaction with The True Story of Ah Q with inherent aesthetic tension.
