In the coexistence and struggle of the “two systems”, the socialist system is becoming a decisive factor in the development of human society. While maintaining confidence in the realization of the “two historical necessities”, we should also recognize the current conditions that are favorable for their achievement. To promote the “two necessities” into a new realm, we should show the lofty responsibility and exemplary role that socialist countries represented by China should shoulder, give full play to the main role of the working class and its political parties in capitalist countries, and strengthen the research and publicity of the theory and practice of world socialism.
