Abstract:Adorno placed heterogeneous elements and the spirit within art, and put forward a negative dialectical view of art. By criticizing Hegel’s idealism based on dialectical unity, Adorno has denied that artistic beauty is the perceptual manifestation of ideas, further presenting the truth in art, and thus solving the relationship between art and philosophy. However, Adorno’s aesthetics, based on the premise of a subject capable of reflection, cannot break through the paradigm of subjectivism philosophy, and fails to see the significance of social groups in confronting capitalism, and therefore it cannot really fight against the ideological problems of capitalist cultural industry.
