There is no monograph on the instrumental music of Jinghe Opera based on historical data, and the existing research only mentions that there is a connection between Jinghe Opera and Chu Opera and Han Opera, but does not give an in-depth explanation of the names of the tunes. Based on the representative genealogical records excavated, it is a feasible way to solve this problem by analyzing the implication of the name of the instrumental music the Outer Eight Tunes of Da Kai Men in Jinghe Opera by demonstrating the dialectical relationship between the name of the Outer Eight Tunes of Da Kai Men and Zenghouyi Zhongming and traditional Zhou Yi (Book of Changes).
