Abstract:Canxue’s has widely used the novel concepts and artistic techniques of Western modernism for reference in her creation. Among them, the novel creation of Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges has a particularly profound influence on Canxue’s literary view. Canxue’s acceptance of Borges is obviously different from that of other avant-garde novelists who are confined to the study and reference of modern narrative techniques. First, her acceptance of Borges is more derived from the gaze of the individual’s latent memory and the judgment of the soul, and emphasizes that the writer is the “writer of the soul”; secondly, she strives to clarify the complexity of the unconscious world , advocates the creation of “pure literature” in which reason and fantasy coexist; finally, there is a core intention in Borges’ novels, that is, the overall creation of Borges points to propositions such as the infinity of spirit or the eternity of time. “The modern personal fable” has important enlightening significance.
