Abstract:The westward movement of cultural institutions during the Anti Japanese War was not only a great feat for the Chinese nation to preserve and continue Chinese culture, but also a great struggle against Japanese imperialist cultural aggression and cultural enslavement. The westward movement of cultural institutions during the Anti Japanese War changed the pattern of Chinese cultural geography, made Southwest China the center of Chinese culture during the war, and greatly promoted the cultural development of the western region; The northwest Anti Japanese base area led by the Communist Party of China, with Yan’an as the center, vigorously carried forward and developed the Red Culture, improved the relatively backward situation of Northwest culture, and profoundly changed the cultural and geographical pattern of Western China.
