Abstract:After the outbreak of the “COVID-19” epidemic, “short video” documentary works have spliced a realistic picture which is different from mainstream media and traditional documentaries. The combination of “broadness” and “privacy” not only gives birth to diversified creative subjects and multi-form text styles, but also marks a new leap in the aesthetic concept, meaning rhetoric and expression paradigm of documentaries in the context of emergencies. To better play the recording, reporting and presentation functions of documentaries in major emergencies, it is necessary to complete a new examination of the new documentary form represented by “micro-documentaries”, and at the same time, it is necessary to explore the impact of the changes of “real” production mechanism from the perspective of media reconstruction.
