The ecological concept of the CPC has significant epochal characteristics. In the early stages of revolution, construction and reform, the CPC carried out ecological environmental governance gradually, laying a solid foundation for the construction of ecological civilization in the new era. Our country starts a new journey of building an ecological civilization in the new century. Particularly, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has carried out fruitful work around the three major issues of why ecological civilization should be built, what kind of ecological civilization to build, and how to build ecological civilization. The centennial exploration and inspiration of the CPC has provided important experience and inspiration for promoting the construction of ecological civilization in the new era, namely, we should adhere to the “red line” of political height, pay close attention to the “green line” of ecological and environmental productivity, and protect the“lifeline”of ecological and people’s livelihood.
