Abstract:From the perspective of Generative Theory, the formation of Chinese ancestors’early aesthetic consciousness is a dynamic generative process. Totem worship, myths and legends, symbols, music, painting, architecture and other cultural and artistic forms in ancient times had a profound impact on the construction of Chinese ancestors’aesthetic image, the creation of aesthetic thinking, the expression of aesthetic conception, and the accumulation of aesthetic experience. The formation of Chinese ancestors’early aesthetic consciousness is a process of continuous creation under the joint force of these different cultural forms.
