Translation Studies based on Bourdieu’s Theory of Social Practice have broken through some limitations, but there are still some aspects to be improved. For example, the boundary of the concept “field” is blurred, the concept “habitus” bears a “deterministic” tendency, and the “field-capital-habitus” analysis framework can not explain the behaviour resulting from actors other than translators. If we only adopt the Theory of Social Practice to study translation, it will lead to one-sided conclusions in the study of translator's behavior. The combination of Bourdieu's Theory of Social Practice and Latour's Actor-Network Theory can make the medium level “translation network” and the macro “translation field” complement each other, make up for the “deterministic” limitation of “translatorial habitus” with “translatorial agency”, and make translation research move towards the actor-process research mode, so as to provide a more scientific and systematic theoretical perspective for Translator Studies.
