Abstract:Influenced by Hunan culture, modern drama writers in Hunan show an aesthetic tendency of “satirizing bad practices” and “speaking from the heart” in their drama creation. The modern drama writers in Hunan care about the current politics and the creation tendency of “satirizing bad practices” came into being due to the new education they received during their growing up in Hunan and the influence of their relatives and friends’ patriotic thoughts. They are good at capturing the romance and poetry in life. The formation of their creative attitude of “speaking from the heart” cannot be separated from the “poetic heart” main body formed in Hunan’s native land when they were children. Historical and ethnic group practices and social and cultural genetic factors have hidden but played an important role in the formation of the aesthetic psychology of Hunan modern drama writers.
