Abstract:In the early 1950s, in order to promote the socialist transformation in rural areas, the Communist Party of China implemented the policy of State Monopoly for Purchase and Marketing. At the beginning of the implementation of the policy, faced with this new thing, the thoughts and behaviors of grass-roots farmers and cadres showed the characteristics of worry, anxiety, defiance and conflict mixed with each other. To this end, the Party and the government carried out a comprehensive and in-depth political mobilization in the rural society. During this period, there were some radical and extreme situations, and the behavior of grass-roots cadres was offside and malposed to varying degrees.
