The youth writer Qin Yumo’s essays The Person Who Knows the Bird’s Languagees focus on the village of Haocun in Yongzhou,Hunan province which shows the country life full of warmth and cruelty. His work reveals the worries and pain of rural life by comparing the countryside and the city, the tradition and the modernization, the indifference and the restlessness, the history and the future which rethinks the misery of the country in the modern times.
