Abstract:Abstract: Three types of characters, namely the children, adults and mad people are mainly shaped in Wu Xinrus novels. His novels reflect the real world by the childish and absurd verbal behaviors of children and teenagers, dispell stereotype toward the world through the performance of the adults which look like steady but actually mundane, and break the balance between fiction and reality in his works through the stupidity of mad people. Wus novels overturned peoples stereotype and formed a new aesthetic view about reality, which shows the writers unique understanding of the social reality.
