Abstract:The Youth League of the Three People's Principles is a youth political organization founded by Chiang Kai-shek after the outbreak of the War of Resistance. His motives of founding the organization are closely related to the political environment at that time, which specifically represents in achieving the “peaceful reunification” with the CPC, eliminating the factions within the system of Kuomintang by organizational means, strengthening his political power through establishing a “legal system” of his own clique, using the organization to “unify” and “lead” youth movements, etc. The fundamental motive for its establishment lies in realizing the high unification and concentration of the political resources so that Chiang can strengthen his own rule and achieve his final political goal of “One doctrine, one party and one leader” through constructing organization form and controlling ideology.
