Abstract:Yu Huai'an's literary world is based on the present and past of west Hunan. He writes out the crudeness and ignorance of the people in the present West Hunan, and also gives due attention and reflection to the search and embarrassment of the people who went to the world outside West Hunan. He makes a unique manifestation of the historical transformation by describing the “wizard”, which is the last form of the primitive religion of West Hunan, and also expresses his worries about the reality of the value concern.
