Since the emergence of capitalism, hegemonism and equilibrium have played an important role in the international order. In particular, the five equilibrium systems nursed by hegemonism have caused great catastrophe to human society. As a new view of international order, the concept of “community of common destiny for all mankind” advocated by General Secretary Xi Jinping transcends “hegemony” and “equilibrium”. Firstly, drawing experiences and lessons from the disasters of hegemonism in history, it is a new view of power featuring mutual respect and equality. Secondly, conforming to the objective requirements of the development and reform of the world today, it is a new concept of winwin cooperation and mutual development. Thirdly, deeply rooted in the soil of excellent traditional Chinese culture, it is a new civilization of harmony in diversity and inclusiveness.
