As an important part of the study on Ci-ology in Qingdynasty, the rise of the compiling on Ci rhyme originated from people’s wish of reviving Ci-ology in Qingdynasty.They focused on compiling the collected works firstly, so the compiling on Ci rhyme was just accessories.As the research on Ci-ology was deepened, the status of Ci rhyme compiling became more important. By the middle of the Qing dynasty, the compiling of Ci rhyme reached its peak, and had become an important part of the research system on Ci-ology.
