Marxist view on women has been widely spread in China since the early 20th Century, and has become the guiding ideology of the party in the work of women and women's movement. Several generations of the CPC leaders, Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, Hu Jintao, and Xi Jinping all have actively explored the special practical approaches to solve Chinese women’s problems, which has enriched and developed the connotation of Marxist view on women, and made outstanding contribution to the formation of the socialist view on women with Chinese characteristics.
