The creation of See You Next Life originates from my contact and communication with the Kuommingtang veterans during the Cultural Revolution, from whom I learned much about the anti-Japanese War history of Kuomintang army covered by the official history at that time. The purpose of creating See You Next Life is to face up to history and restore the anti-Japanese War history, which was once deliberately forgotten, in the form of literature, and cherish the memory of our revolutionary martyrs for their heroic deeds.
