At present, the study of contemporary old style poetry is mainly concentrated on the discussion of its name and metre , the value congnition of the old style poetry, case study and group study of contemporary old poets and other research aspects. There have been fruitful results obtained from the studies made from various perspectives, yet no system has been formed up till now, and many dificiencies still exist in the research objects, research methods and so on.
