Abstract:Literature and art carries serious and special missions in the construction of China dream. Writers and artists should be deeply rooted in the rich soil of Chinese culture and create works around the era theme of "China dream" and "positive energy". They should stay close to life, respond to the concerns of the people, tell about good stories in China, and express China's new spirit, let the light and elegant literature complement each other and bring out the best in each other. The novel of Surviving Two Hundred Days by Zeng Haimin, a writer from Zhuzhou, focuses on the common people and their livelihood, abides by the creation principle of being "popular but not common", and strives to tell about good "China stories". It tells about our common experience in the form of Chinese aesthetics, interpreting and deducing the ordinary but great theme of China dream with a good taste embodied in its plain style. The positive energy literature and art, just as General Secretary Xi Jinping advocated, also calls for such a strong sense of responsibility and mission.
