The thought origin and evolution development process of industrial ecology theory was analyzed comprehensively, as well as the research lines; objects and basic connotation of this theory were discussed. On this basis, the plight and misdirection of this theory will be analyzed systematically. Finally, it gives a deep thought of the solution of industrial ecology theory innovation from research perspectives and contents.
