It is well known that home court advantage exists in football games, but whether this advantage can be utilized well or not is affected by many factors. Having made a comprehensive study on the research achievements at home and abroad, the paper summarizes the main affecting factors: audience effect, travel effect, familiarity, referee bias, territoriality, rule changes, specific tactics and importance of match. These factors mutually related and interacted and affect the home court advantage together.
