Abstract:In recent years, micro film as new media and marketing support has attracted much attention, but its role of “city image construction and the dissemination” just cut a striking figure. Micro film within specific city space shows the pursuit of modernity and exhibits the geographical landscape and shapes the image of city groups. Meanwhile, the micro film itself also has become a ceremonial city media landmark. Micro film shows the image of the city and transfers to the audience the double experience of “sense of place” aesthetic and city spirit cognition, which contains the public discourse on modern city life and affects people's collective memory and emotional resonance. The city image construction of Fuzhou’s local micro film enriches the dimension of image dissemination, so it is worthy of further concern and discussion.
