Abstract:In the fifty-sixth year of Qian Long period, Gurkha invaded Tibet twice. Qian Long Emperor sent Fu Kang’an to Tibet to suppress Gurkha in order to beat it completely and achieve his aim to set Yong Jing as an important border area. Fu Kang’an shouldered the task, and went to Tibet without fear of danger and difficulty. He not only gained brilliant military achievement as a result of seven victories, with the ambassador of Gurkha forced to be a minister of the Qing Dynasty, but also set Twenty Nine Aftermath Articles for Tibet Made by Imperial Order. At the same time, Fu Kang’an corrected the maladministration so as to lay a firm foundation for Tibet’s lasting political stability.
