Abstract:The characters in Lu Xun's novels have to change their love to revenge because of their emotional trauma, thus they form a complicated and profound psychological connotations.Revenge of Wei Lianshu in Loners is not entirely from the oppression of social customs, but is more from the adolescence affection of love, which is from his traumatic experience; he attempts to lift the repression of the heart and his angry by abusing himself and society. Revenge of Hou Yi in Flying to the Moon, is not entirely from the leaving of his beloved wife, the betrayal of his student and his powerless loneliness, but is more rooted in sexual repression, and finally his stress is removed by his revenge for his wife. Revenge of Yan Zhi’ao in Forging the Swords is more from the despair of his love of the world, and then changes into a big hate, so he gives vent to his despair by revenging the world.
