Abstract:Lao Laizi, a famous thinker in late Spring and Autumn period, is one of the founder of Taoism. In his later years, he moved from Mengshan Mountain in Jiang Ling to the south. After crossing Songzi, Jianli and Gong’an, he entered Changde and went along the Yangtze river and finally he settled down and lived a secluded life in Liang Tu Duan, where is about 10km from Xiangjiang river in Zhu Zhou. According to the records and tablet words, he was also buried here, so his tomb is in Zhu Zhou.
