Similar linguistic source between English and French facilitates the comparison and relevance between these two languages. Different linguistic branches also make English and French different. Based on comparison and analysis of lexicology, the phenomenon of sharing and inter-lending between the English vocabulary and the French vocabulary is explored. The impact which is oriented from vocabulary sharing and vocabulary inter-lending in terms of sense and function in these two languages are also discussed.
