Zong Pu’s Who am I is a masterpiece of the Contemporary Introspection Literature. This novel obtained a full positive laudation in the literary world when published, for its calling for “human” and its modern writing style. While reading this novel Who am I in the new times, we can find that this introspection novel does not have true “introspection” value, and it has some limitations in the narrative discourse, tragic rendering and literary enlightenment.
