As a kind of common language phenomenon, humor fully embodies the expression power of human language. Humorous effects base on the recipient's thorough understanding of the discourse. The conceptual Integration theory, advanced by Fauconnier, has a great explanatory power for the cognitive process of verbal humors. This paper analyzes the mechanism of CIT and detects the dynamic process of achievement of humorous effect on this theory together with characteristics of verbal English humor.
