Different from the ancient visual poetry, modern Chinese visual poetry makes use of modern printing and media technology, which combines art and literature. Modern Chinese visual poetry excavates the aesthetic qualities of the pictographic characters, and uses the location and mutual spatial relationships of the words, sentences, paragraphs on pages to form visual images, making out a visual poem.
