Wang Ji's Privacy-fu, represented by You Beishan Fu, not only describes his hermit life, but also contains the deep life thoughts and complicated life consciousness in all his life. Though he obeyed Zhuangzi's natural value view of life, the Confucian's kindhearted feelings and ethics value view of life had great influence on him. He not only had open-minded attitude toward death, but also longed for the private and comfortable life of hermits. These contradictory feelings in Wangji's Fu not only come from the influence of times situation and regional culture, but also from the nurture of family education and his own experiences and characters. Since Wangji had been officials and then secluded for three times in his life, the style of his Fu also changed gradually from details and magnificence to simplicity and thrifty. Both the transition of language and structure and the heritage of hermit ideas and themes show that Wangji's Fu has important heritage significance in the Fu history.
