Abstract:The wall paintings in the Manjusri Hall of Yanshan Temple in Fanshi county in Shanxi province include a large number of landscape images, which is known as the only existing green landscape works of the Jin Dynasty so far. Taking the related history, culture, works, tools, materials and painters into account, this paper mainly describes the painting style and its evolution of the green landscape paintings and explores the origins and style morphology of landscape wall paintings, which aims to display the unique artistic value of the Jin Dynasty landscape wall paintings in Yanshan Temple in the art history.
