Abstract:American poet E?E?Commings imitated Chinese poets and painters and he wanted his pictures to contain some poetic elements and his poems to contain pictures. His poem expresses his desire to live in China, showing a strong Chinese complex. Many poems he created are themselves pictures and leave readers a wide space for imagination. Besides, Commings's vague poempictures change shapes and meanings, the ambiguous aesthetic norms of which are the same as what Chinese artists are pursuing.
