Abstract:The narrative novel of Hunan Mule by He Dun is deviated from both mainstream narrative mode and a more humane attitude to war, which has realized the rebellion of red narrative and heroic narrative in the sense of the war narrative on the past. He strictly follows its character of logic development to show the history of collective character and spiritual history of nearly a hundred years for Changsha people in the 20th century with a forceful pen power and highlights this spirit's rheological course in various periods. This novel has extraordinary aesthetic effects in its narrative which aesthetic point of view focus on the fate of the ups and downs and changes of a military family.
